We are warriors.

Prayer is the way you defeat the devil, reach the lost, restore a backslider, strengthen the saints, send missionaries out, cure the sick, accomplish the impossible, and know the will of God.  (David Jeremiah)

At Crossroads we want to be prayer warriors; people who are convinced of its power and moved by it’s necessity. None of us really understand why our Creator desires it, but to know His ear is attentive to our needs is a grand affirmation to God’s earnest desire to help us. (1 Peter 3:12) "Some people think God does not like to be troubled with our constant coming and asking. The way to trouble God is not to come at all."   D.L. Moody

In Ephesians 6, Paul speaks about prayer. He instructs us to get dressed for battle, equipped to fight principalities, powers, the rulers of the darkness of this world. When we are fully dressed, we must pray "On every occasion."

Prayer is needed in this fight. The panoply of God is necessary, but so is prayer. "Satan trembles when he sees the weakest saint upon his knees."

When all I see is the battle, You see my victory When all I see is the mountain, You see a mountain moved And as I walk through the shadow, Your love surrounds me There's nothing to fear now for I am safe with You So when I fight, I'll fight on my knees With my hands lifted high Oh God, the battle belongs to You And every fear I lay at Your feet I'll sing through the night Oh God, the battle belongs to You
